Marjon van Dijk has an extensive background in the hospitality business and event management. As a former library assistent, she also has a wealth of knowledge of the world of open source information, and her vast experience makes her the best general programme manager one can have.

Reuser’s Information Services

The company was founded in January 2008 to meet the ever increasing demand for lectures, presentations, briefings, workshops and complete OSINT training programmes worldwide.

Until 2013, work for the company was done in conjunction with work for the Service, with full approval of the minister of Defence. However, the requirement and demand for our services became such that we decided to go full time for the company and end our relationship with the Service in 2013.

Reuser’s Information Services is a one-man company, fully owned by Arno Reuser without any dependency on third parties.

More about Arno

In 1990 Arno was invited by the (back then) Defence Intelligence Services to establish a brand new Open Source Intelligence production capability.

Having access to the world’s leading open source information providers such as Factiva, Dialog and Lexis-Nexis, and mastering the complex retrieval languages of those systems, Arno managed to provide accurate and exact answers to questions instead of producing large amount of paper output.

Arno was also investigating the brand new public online world. Starting with a 1200 BAUD modem and discovering bulletin board systems then quickly changing to the brand new Internet using the only provider available: Hack-Tic. The world wide web did not exist yet. Gopher, Archie, WAIS, Veronica and many more, where the tools to browse the Internet and visit service providers. And being stunned to download full text copies of security council resolutions. For free.

Then to continue to investigate how sources on the Internet, and later on the world wide web as well, could be integrated with the already existing commercial online information providers on the one side and with academic and specialised libraries on the other. It proved to be a golden choice.

Especially because the art of programming turned out to be invaluable. Arno continued to create a reliable, fast, durable OSINT production system that could provide timely answers to research questions. Basically by automatic downloading relevant public information, processing that information and via an air-gap, uploading the information daily to the in-house OSINT website. Every analysis team had their own part on the OSINT website.
